Ragnar arrived at RASTA Sanctuary as an emergency rescue.  He was in a temporary home, but his time there was running short and there was a real risk he would go to someone who would not allow him to live.  Even when the rescue team from P.E.A.C.E. arrived to pick him up, an animal was being butchered on the property.

Ragnar had also not been castrated, meaning he was  unable to join the rest of the goats (and was displaying some less than appealing behaviours) and he needed a serious beard combing as he'd gotten into some burrs at his previous home.  We sent him for surgery shortly after his arrival, combed out his burrs, and he has adjusted very well after that.

He is a sweet, friendly fellow who has won the hearts of everyone here, particularly the female goats Patty and Selma.  His quirky behaviour and excited nature is so contagious, and he is a wonderful addition to the RASTA Family.
