Nibbles came to us in the summer of 2013 from the same hoarding situation that Toby came from in Springbank Alberta.  Nibbles was given her name because she was quite aggressive with people when she was first taken in by the other organization.  It turned out that the reason behind her aggression was the fact that she wasn't spayed and suffered from cystic ovaries.  This painful condition is one of many issues that plague intact pigs and therefore why spaying and neutering is so important.  After we had Nibbles spayed and she was no longer in discomfort, her aggression disappeared.
